It is also a surface that is kind to the body. Synthetic grass is softer to play on than other tennis surfaces. Synthetic grass requires less maintenance than natural grass courts. There is no mowing or continuous line marking needed, but do remember that these courts do require grooming every few weeks and a major service every 18-24 months.

Synthetic Grass – Bowling

Synthetic bowling surfaces have continued to gain worldwide acceptance in recent years thanks to the technological advances in the manufacture of synthetic grass.

Today’s latest generation synthetic grass greens offer a true non-directional performance allowing bowlers to experience true ball tracking at all times for uncompromised performance.

Synthetic greens have many advantages over natural greens. For instance, as they are built on porous bases, they drain immediately after rain meaning there are no extended delays as the water subsides.

Synthetic greens are virtually maintenance-free which, saves the club thousands of dollars in chemicals and green fees every year, quickly helping to offset the establishment of the surface. The hard-wearing synthetic nature also allows for extended play without damaging the playing surface. You can play 24 hours a day without stressing the grass meaning more games for the club and greater attendance.

Greens are also adjustable for speed. Although they generally run at around 13 seconds, your installation crew can vary this timing as desired to suit your club’s requirements.

Court Craft supplies a range of cricket products ranging from synthetic wicket surfaces through to steel and mesh practice nets.

Our range of cricket surfaces is designed to suit practice and play conditions. With differing densities and product weight, each system performs differently in subtle ways allowing you to choose the ideal battling track, or a surface suited more for seamers or spinners.

Many clubs and schools are installing a range of surfaces to help their players adapt to all conditions.

Our triple stripe wickets are another innovative training tool. With 2 coloured strips running along with the pitch between the stumps, it allows bowlers to focus on a line for their deliveries while encouraging batsmen to learn where their feet are positioned in relation to the stumps at any given time.

Our net systems can be either permanent or removable to suit the needs of your facility. With systems available on a customised basis, a design can be made to suit your needs.
