Court Craft won the $3m contract in November 2009 to be the builder of the 12 courts, Cairns Regional Tennis Centre. The project includes earthworks to Tennis Clubhouse Building and Car Park to Subgrade, Courts Civil Works, Specialist Tennis Facility Works, Electrical Works and Landscaping. This project was constructed during the wet season finished in June 2010.
Demolition; Civil earthworks, drainage, sewer and water services, concrete works, and retaining walls, electrical services, including connection to Main Switchboard, Flexible Pavements, including markings, Fencing, Concrete works, Shade Sails, Specialist court “Plexicushion” and “Plexipave” surfacing, Tennis court furniture, Bin enclosure, Street Furniture, Landscaping (Optional – refer Clause C06 of the Special Conditions of Contract) and turfing to external batters
Liaison and coordination of activities with Tennis Facility Clubhouse Building Contractor.
This facility was used for the Davis Cup Tournament.
